Literary and Art Universe (LITERAVERSE) 2025 is a creative English-based competition organized by the English Education Department Student Association (EEDSA), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Tanjungpura. With the theme “Generasi Emas” and the tagline “Brilliance in Every Word, Gold in Every Dream,” this event aims to empower junior and senior high school students through literature and art.
LITERAVERSE features four main competitions: Poetry Reading, Speech Contest, Storytelling, and Creative Video Competition (CRETAVITION). Each category is designed to enhance English language skills while fostering students’ creativity and appreciation of literature and culture. The event offers a platform for self-expression and cultural exchange among young talents in West Kalimantan.
On May 3–4, 2025, the English Education Department Student Association (EEDSA) successfully held LITERAVERSE 2025 at Gedung Kuliah Bersama, Universitas Tanjungpura. The two day event brought together more than 50 participants from various junior and senior high schools in Pontianak and Kubu Raya to compete in English-language literary and artistic performances.
The event opened with a formal ceremony followed by Poetry Reading and Speech Contest on the first day. On the second day, participants showcased their talents in Storytelling and the Creative Video Competition. The event concluded with an awarding session that celebrated the best works across all categories. LITERAVERSE 2025 not only showcased linguistic talents but also promoted local culture and student creativity in a festive academic atmosphere.
